Dear Fellow Arrowmen,
 

I am greatly honored to be serving as your Chapter Chief for this upcoming year. I believe that our Chapter has the potential to be one of the best, not saying that it isn’t great already, because it is, but there is always room for improvement.

 

My goal for this year, is to continuously build up our chapter’s attendance. However, it all starts with you. I encourage all active arrowmen to go back to their units and urge the ones who have become less active or not active at all to take advantage of the great opportunities that can be experienced throughout the year. Also, it is important that we give members insight on our upcoming events and meetings and what we do there. In addition, remind them that earning the sash is one thing but acting on it is another. Finally, we must reach out to the younger scouts in our units about the Order of the Arrow and what it can truly means to each of them. Hopefully these strategies will inspire the desire to advance and possibly gain membership to our order sometime in the future.

 

I will personally reflect on the accomplishments of our past Chapter Chiefs, so we can be successful in this new year, and to keep our traditions going. I know in my heart that we can achieve true greatness.
